Cargill Inland Grain Terminal

Remediation and demolition of a 11 story inland grain terminal. The project involved the remediation of asbestos, PCB and contaminated soils from the site. The main terminal building was prepared for explosive demolition and detonated October of 2012, overall the project took 9 month to complete with some 4000 ton of recyclable metal and 120 thousand ton of recycled concrete aggregate be generated. The project was an overall success with the terminal being the second building implosion within city limits in its history.
